Detailed Description of Good and / or Services Toddler Fun is a registered business in the publishing industry within the Western Cape province of South Africa. Our focus is to publish and market full colour, affordable, quality story books for children and deliver on-line printable themed activities to the children’s market.
Delivery policy Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be initiated within 48 hours during work days and delivery confirmed by way of an e-mail. All items of the Toddler Fun site have an indication of the delivery time: The order item with the longest delivery time determines your parcel's delivery time. Important: if items with different delivery times are ordered together, the item with the longest delivery time will determine the delivery time of all the items in the order.
Outside the borders of South Africa Goods to the following international destinations are sent as follows: Namibia and African countries - Delivery to the post office only; all other international (incl. United Kingdom; excl Africa) - via airmail parcel post. Delivery usually takes place within two or three weeks after dispatch - however, seasonal peaks and delays at customs etc is outside the control of Toddler Fun and deliveries may take up to twelve weeks. It is possible to courier goods to international addresses (incl. United Kingdom; excl Africa). The costs are determined on an ad hoc basis. Note that such costs are normally very high.
Agreement of Sale Placing an item in a shopping basket or adding it to a wish list without completing the purchase cycle does not: constitute an agreement of sale between Toddler Fun and users cannot hold Toddler Fun liable if such items are not available when the purchase cycle is completed later; and/or constitute an order for such an item; and Toddler Fun may remove such an item from the shopping basket or wish list if no stock is available.
An agreement of sale between Toddler Fun and a user only comes into effect if and when:
A credit card authorization is received from the issuing bank; or
A deposit of an electronic transfer is reflected on Toddler Fun bank statement (and only if such payment is received within 5 (five) business days after completion of the purchase cycle); or
A direct deposit is reflected on Toddler Fun bank statement (and only if such payment is received within 5 (five) business days after completion of the purchase cycle.
Toddler Fun reserves the right to refuse to accept and/or execute an order without giving any reasons. Toddler Fun also reserves the right to cancel orders in whole or in part as circumstances dictate. Toddler Fun shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the user.
Toddler Fun shall take all reasonable efforts to maintain correct prices. However, should errors occur and items are offered at incorrect prices, Toddler Fun will not be obliged to sell goods at such incorrect prices and shall only be liable to refund monies paid.
The provision of goods and services by Toddler Fun is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Toddler Fun will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Cancellation of online orders by the client will attract a 50% of purchased amount administration fee. You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by ToddlerFun.co.za and ToddlerFun.net within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement. The following conditions and exceptions apply: any book that has obvious signs of use will constitute a partial refund of 50% of item's price.
Refunds will be issued within 30days if not earlier from date of goods returned. The client is responsible to return goods at own cost. Toddler Fun may be contacted to discuss a specific case where the client needs guidance regarding returns.
Customer Privacy Policy Toddler Fun shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment Options Accepted
We accept two ways of making payments: Offline and Online.
Offline
This payment method does not involve any kind of online transaction. There are two types:
Non-Credit Card: e.g. 'EFT / Direct Bank Payment' or 'Cash on Delivery'.
Online
We offer online transactions with 128 bit SSL security and our preferred service provider partner is Virtual Card Services. (VCS)
Payment may be made via Visa, Master Card, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Toddler Fun bank account, the details of which will be provided on request, see contact us page.
Credit Card Acquiring and Security Credit card transactions will be acquired for Toddler Fun by Virtual Card Service (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Nedbank of South Africa.
Virtual Card Services (VCS) process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.
VCS is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. VCS Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems. The Merchant does not have access to credit details. VCS continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). We accept credit card payments via the website in which case 'Virtual Card Acquiring' will reflect on the card holder's statement.

Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand)

Toddler Fun does not accept any liability for illegal, defamatory or obscene content, although all efforts will be made against it. Users are encouraged to inform Toddler Fun of any content that may be offensive or illegal.
